The public pages
The home page, the course map and the SC-300 practice have no accounts, no cookies, no analytics and no ads. SC-300 keeps your answers in your browser's local storage. They are never sent to us. Clearing this site's data in your browser erases them.
Pages are delivered by Microsoft Azure Static Web Apps. Like any web host, it handles your IP address and the address you asked for in order to send you the page.
Locker Room and Lab
Locker Room and Lab is a private homework page used by one family. It is not open to the public: it works only with a grown-up's PIN, or on a device a grown-up has approved.
What is stored, in Microsoft Azure storage: the child's progress (quests done, gems, rank, streak, practice minutes, and notes for the grown-ups); the answers the child writes in a writing quest; a one-tap mood the child picks at the start and end of the day; for each device, a scrambled (hashed) sign-in token, whether a grown-up approved it, and when it was last used; and a log of which device changed what, as counts, not content.
What the child is. A nickname chosen by a grown-up. No email, no real name, no password to type.
What is not stored. What the child says or types to Coach. Recordings are not kept.
Who else sees it, to do one job each:
- Coach: so Coach can write a reply, Anthropic's API is sent the nickname, age, grade and reading level a grown-up set; the problem on the screen and its hint; a short summary of what the child practiced on that page; and what the child types to Coach.
- Read to Coach: the recording is sent to Microsoft Azure Speech to turn it into words, then dropped.
- Coach's voice: the line to be spoken is sent to Microsoft Azure Speech to make the audio.
The family's grown-ups can see the child's progress and reports, approve or cut off devices, and delete the family's data.
